Impact on Train Operations

The sudden failure of the signal system near Km No. 1398/21-23 prompted immediate action from railway authorities. The loco pilot of the Vande Bharat Express noticed the issue but was unable to resume operations promptly due to the extensive signal failure affecting multiple points. As a result, a team of railway officials was dispatched to address the situation, while the Mathura Control Room communicated the developments to the DRM office. The investigation revealed that the theft of the cable was the primary cause of the disruption.

Restoration Efforts and Delays

Following the identification of the cable theft, railway officials began the process of installing new cables and conducting repairs, which continued until approximately 5:30 PM. As a consequence of the theft, several trains experienced delays, with the Rani Kamalapati Bhopal Vande Bharat being notably delayed by 10 minutes.
