Amritsar’s Train Departures Delayed: Shatabdi Express Leaves 7 Minutes Late, Other Services Face Significant Setbacks

Amritsar is seeing clearer weather after heavy fog in December and January. However, train services are still running slowly. The New Delhi Shatabdi Express left Amritsar at 5:02 AM, which was 7 minutes late.

Similarly, the Sachkhand Express faced a delay of 2 hours and 37 minutes, departing at 8:05 AM instead of the scheduled 5:30 AM. The Thiruvananthapuram North Weekly Superfast Express also left late, at 6:01 AM instead of 5:55 AM.


Other trains like the Mumbai CSMT Express and the Delhi Intercity Express also had delays, 14 minutes and 5 minutes respectively. The Amrapali Express was 13 minutes late, departing at 7:53 AM instead of 7:40 AM.

Trains such as the Saharsa Garib Rath Express and Vande Bharat Express also saw delays, with the former leaving at 4:05 AM instead of 4:00 AM. The Delhi Superfast Express was delayed by 39 minutes, departing at 10:04 AM.


Later in the day, the Shan-e-Punjab train left 40 minutes late at 3:50 PM, while the Swarna Jayanti Shatabdi Express departed at 4:54 PM, just 4 minutes late. Passengers should keep an eye on train timings as delays remain common.
