The Ministry of Railways has shared some exciting news! A new train called the Bengaluru-Kochi Vande Bharat Express is set to start soon. This train will link KSR Bengaluru with Ernakulam Junction, making it the third Vande Bharat service in Kerala.
This train will have two main services. Train number 26651 will leave Bengaluru at 5:10 AM and reach Ernakulam Junction by 1:50 PM. The return train, number 26652, will depart from Ernakulam at 2:20 PM and arrive back in Bengaluru at 11 PM.
The train will stop at several important places along the way. Passengers can expect halts at Krishnarajapuram, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, and Thrissur, making it convenient for many travelers.
The Ministry has instructed the Southern Railway and South Western Railway zones to roll out this service as soon as possible. If needed, the inaugural train may operate as a special service initially.
