The Central Railway has announced that it will run two special superfast trains between Nagpur and Hadaspur (Pune) during the busy festival season of Diwali and Chhath. This is to accommodate the increasing number of passengers.
The train number 01201 will leave Nagpur every Monday and Thursday at 7:40 PM and reach Hadaspur the next day at 11:25 AM. This service will be available from September 29 to November 27, 2025.
On the return journey, train number 01202 will depart from Hadaspur every Tuesday and Friday at 3:50 PM and arrive in Nagpur the next morning at 6:30 AM. This train will also run from September 30 to November 28, 2025.
These trains will stop at several stations including Wardha, Akola, and Ahmednagar, and will consist of 18 coaches. The coaches will include AC 3-tier, sleeper, and general compartments, along with baggage and guard vans.
Moreover, the Vande Bharat Express also operates between Nagpur and Pune, completing the journey in just 12 hours. This express train is known for its speed and comfort, making it a popular choice among passengers.
