Heavy Rain in Jamalpur Reschedules Train Timings, Vande Bharat Express Now Departs at 5 PM

Jamalpur is facing heavy rain and waterlogging, which has led to delays in train services. The Eastern Railway has made some changes to the train schedules to manage the situation.

One significant change is for the Jamalpur-Hawrah Vande Bharat Express, which will now depart at 5 PM instead of the usual 3:30 PM. This adjustment was made to ensure passenger safety and smooth operations.


Other trains that are affected include the Sarai Ghāt Express, which will leave Hawrah at 5:20 PM instead of 4:05 PM, and the Mithila Express, now scheduled for 6:20 PM instead of 3:50 PM. Passengers should check their respective train timings to avoid confusion.

Additionally, the Agnivina Express, Jammu Tawi Express, and Amritsar Express have also had their departure times pushed back by several hours. It’s important for travelers to stay updated on these changes.
