Indian Railways has some exciting news! They will start the first Vande Bharat Sleeper Express train in September 2025. This train will connect Delhi with Patna, making travel faster and more comfortable.

The Union Railway Minister has confirmed that the train will cover the distance in only 11 hours, which is a big improvement over the usual travel time of 12 to 17 hours. The launch is perfectly timed ahead of major festivals like Chhath and Diwali.


This new sleeper train will have modern features, including comfortable berths, better safety measures, and world-class amenities. Fares are expected to be around 10-15% higher than those of the Rajdhani Express, but passengers will definitely enjoy the upgraded experience.

The Vande Bharat Sleeper Express will run at a maximum speed of 180 km per hour. It will be equipped with advanced technology, like CCTV cameras and automatic doors, ensuring a safe and pleasant journey for all passengers.
