Indian Railways is bringing some exciting news with the introduction of two new Vande Bharat Express trains. These trains will connect Jodhpur and Bikaner with Delhi, making travel quicker and more convenient for passengers.
The new trains are designed to save more than an hour on travel time for these routes. For instance, one train will leave Jodhpur at 5:30 AM and arrive in Delhi at 1:30 PM. On its return journey, it will leave Delhi at 3:10 PM and reach Jodhpur by 11:15 PM.
Similarly, the second train will start from Bikaner at 5:45 AM, reaching Delhi at 11:50 AM. It will then leave Delhi at 4:45 PM and get back to Bikaner by 11:00 PM. While the exact start date hasn’t been officially announced, there are reports suggesting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate these trains on September 25.
These new semi-high-speed trains are expected to improve travel experiences and boost the local economy as well. They will be maintained and operated by the North Western Railway (NWR) zone, ensuring a smooth journey for passengers.
As of now, Rajasthan has four pairs of operational Vande Bharat trains, with speeds reaching up to 160 km/h. The upcoming trains will further enhance connectivity and comfort for travelers in the region.
