Good news for people in Araria and the surrounding areas! New train services are set to begin soon, bringing much-needed connectivity to the region.

On September 15, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the Jogbani-Iroad Amrit Bharat Express and the Jogbani-Patna Vande Bharat train. Additionally, the long-awaited operation of the Katihar-Siliguri train on the Araria-Galgalia rail line will also start.


From September 12, the weekly train from Narpatganj to Amritsar has already begun. Moreover, the Jogbani-Anand Vihar Seemanchal Express will now stop at Araria station starting September 16, enhancing travel options for passengers.

This new rail service will boost trade, tourism, and create job opportunities in the area. The Araria-Galgalia rail line is essential for local development and spans about 110.75 kilometers, connecting several key locations.


With the opening of this rail line, there will be better connectivity and increased movement of goods and passengers. This development will also strengthen ties with Nepal and promote cultural exchange between the two countries.
