Indian Railways has launched four new Vande Bharat Express trains, increasing the total to 164 services across the country.



Indian Railways has recently added four new Vande Bharat Express trains, thanks to a launch event by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Varanasi. Now, there are 164 Vande Bharat trains running all over India.

The new trains include routes like Banaras-Khajuraho, Lucknow-Saharanpur, Firozpur-Delhi, and Ernakulam-Bengaluru. These services will make travel quicker and smoother for everyone, boosting tourism and local economies.


For example, the Banaras-Khajuraho Vande Bharat will save passengers around 2 hours and 40 minutes compared to current trains. The Lucknow-Saharanpur route will take about 7 hours and 45 minutes, which is nearly an hour faster than before.

The Firozpur-Delhi train will be the fastest on its route, completing the journey in just 6 hours and 40 minutes. Additionally, the Ernakulam-Bengaluru train will shorten travel time by over 2 hours, making it a great option for professionals and students.


These new services aim to improve regional connectivity and support economic growth. They will provide comfortable travel options for those visiting popular destinations and help connect major cities more effectively.
