The article discusses the large crowd of candidates at the Muzaffarpur railway station for the BPSC exam and the measures taken to manage the situation.

On Wednesday, a huge crowd of around 10,000 candidates gathered at Muzaffarpur railway junction for the BPSC exam. The candidates returned after their exam, and the scene was quite chaotic, especially during the afternoon and evening hours.

To manage the crowd, the railway authorities ran special trains. The first special train left for Patna at 4 PM from platform number five, followed by another train to Chapra at 7 PM. Many candidates boarded these trains to head home.

Before the exam day, the Samastipur division had already arranged a pair of special trains, but many candidates still boarded the Danapur and Patliputra Intercity trains. Thankfully, there were no issues with overcrowding in the compartments.

The railway management and security teams were well-prepared for this situation. The RPF and railway police were actively involved in controlling the crowd and ensuring safety. They provided information about the special trains over the microphone to assist the candidates.

Overall, the situation at the station was managed effectively, with officers overseeing the departures of both special and regular trains. The authorities took precautions, especially regarding ticket checks before allowing passengers on board.

Summary:

  • A crowd of 10,000 candidates gathered at Muzaffarpur station for the BPSC exam.

  • Special trains were run to manage the large number of candidates.

  • Two trains were scheduled, one for Patna and another for Chapra.

  • Railway authorities were well-prepared with security measures in place.

  • Overall, the situation was handled smoothly without major issues.
