Muzaffarpur Welcomes New Vande Bharat Express; PM Modi to Flag Off Train on September 15

A new Vande Bharat Express train is set to launch in Muzaffarpur, along with an Amrit Bharat Express service.



Muzaffarpur is getting another Vande Bharat Express train soon. Prime Minister Modi will flag it off on 15th September. This train will run from Farbisganj to Danapur, reaching Muzaffarpur at 9:05 PM.

The new train is called the 02631 Farbisganj-Danapur special service. It will make stops at several stations including Araria Court, Purnia Junction, and Hajipur before reaching its final destination.


Passengers can expect the train to leave Farbisganj at 3:30 PM and it will take just about five minutes after arriving in Muzaffarpur to head towards Danapur. Now, there will be two Vande Bharat trains operating on this route.

In addition, the Amrit Bharat Express will also start running. One of its routes will connect Jogbani and Erode, providing more travel options for passengers.


Currently, a three-tier investigation is underway regarding the damage to two LED TVs at the station due to overloading issues. Authorities are ensuring safety measures are in place to prevent similar incidents in the future.
