New Vande Bharat Train to Connect Ferozepur and Delhi, Halting at Key Punjab Cities Including Bathinda and Patiala

A new Vande Bharat train is set to launch soon, connecting Ferozepur in Punjab to New Delhi. This route will pass through major cities like Bathinda and Patiala, making travel easier for passengers in the region.

The announcement was made by Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, who also mentioned a new railway link between Rajpura and SAS Nagar (Mohali). This will help connect more areas in Punjab with the Chandigarh-Mohali-Panchkula region.


The exact date for the train’s launch is not yet confirmed, but the proposal has been approved and will soon go for cabinet approval. This new service aims to improve travel efficiency for many commuters.

Every day except Wednesdays, the train will leave Ferozepur Cantonment station at 7:55 AM and reach Delhi at 2:35 PM. It will stop at key locations like Faridkot, Bathinda, and Patiala, covering the distance of 486 kilometers in about 6 hours and 40 minutes.


In the return journey, the train will leave Delhi at 4 PM, making the same stops, and arrive back in Ferozepur by 10:35 PM. With this service, passengers will have more convenient travel options across these important cities.
