Northern Railway Launches Special Vande Bharat Train from New Delhi to Patna for Festive Season Travel from October 11

The Northern Railway is launching a special Vande Bharat train service between New Delhi and Patna from October 11 to November 15. This is to help manage the expected increase in passenger numbers during the festive season.

This special train, numbered 02252, will operate every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. It will leave New Delhi at 8:35 AM and reach Patna by 9:30 PM, stopping at key stations like Aligarh, Kanpur, and Prayagraj.


The return train, numbered 02251, will run from Patna to New Delhi starting from October 12. It will operate every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday, departing Patna at 10:00 AM and arriving in New Delhi at 11:30 PM.

The special train will have 16 air-conditioned coaches and can carry a total of 1,128 passengers. It includes two executive class coaches for added comfort.


This initiative aims to ensure that people can travel safely and comfortably during the busy festival time. It is expected to meet the high demand for train services during this period.
