PM Modi to Virtually Inaugurate Amrit Bharat and Vande Bharat Express Trains on September 15 in Bihar

Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate new train services, including Amrit Bharat and Vande Bharat Express, on September 15 from Purnia.



On September 15, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch two new train services: the Amrit Bharat Express between Jogbani-Iroad and Saharsa-Chehrata, and the Vande Bharat Express between Jogbani-Danapur. This virtual event will take place from Purnia.

Along with the new train services, the inauguration will also include updates for the Katihar-Siliguri Express. The railway has released the timetable for both the Amrit Bharat and Vande Bharat special trains.


Passengers can look forward to convenient travel options. The Amrit Bharat train will run through several stations, including Supaul, Saharsa, and others, reaching Iroad on September 18. The train will depart from Jogbani at 3:30 PM and arrive in Iroad at 7:20 AM the next day.

Similarly, the Saharsa-Chehrata Amrit Bharat train will start its journey from Saharsa at 3:30 PM on the same day, stopping at various stations and reaching Chehrata by 2:00 AM on September 17. The route includes stops at locations like Supaul and Raxaul.


Lastly, the Vande Bharat train will leave Farbisganj at 3:30 PM, making several stops before arriving in Danapur at 11:40 PM on the same day. These new services aim to enhance travel options for passengers in the region.
