This special train service generated around ₹2.63 crore in revenue, making it the best among all Vande Bharat trains running from Pune. Railway officials were pleasantly surprised by these numbers, showing that more people are choosing faster trains for their festive travels.


During the same twelve days, all four Vande Bharat trains from Pune served a total of 44,305 passengers, earning ₹4.68 crore. However, the Pune–Ajni route had the highest percentage increase in passenger numbers, indicating a strong preference for this service.

Railway officials ensured smooth travel by planning ahead, adding extra trains, and adjusting services. All Vande Bharat trains maintained their schedules well, which is important for travelers during busy times.


The impressive response to the Pune–Ajni service shows a shift in travel habits, with many passengers now preferring trains over buses or flights. The success of this route may lead to more upgraded train services in the future.
