This article shares updates about train operations at Muzaffarpur Junction, including platform changes for several trains.
The railway department has announced some changes for train operations at Muzaffarpur Junction. Starting from Sunday, three trains, including the Freedom Fighter Superfast train, will arrive at different platforms than usual.
The Freedom Fighter Superfast train (12562) will now arrive at platform three instead of platform one. Similarly, the Narpatganj-Amritsar General Express (14603) will also now be at platform three, instead of platform four. Meanwhile, the Jayanagar-Patna Intercity train (15549) will operate from platform five instead of platforms two and three.
This change is being made to reduce the number of trains at platform one and to accommodate the operations of the Vande Bharat train. Passengers should take note of these changes when planning their journeys.
It’s important to mention that the trains 12561 Freedom Fighter Superfast, 14604 General Express, and 15550 Patna-Jayanagar Intercity will continue to operate as before, without any changes.
In the coming days, there may be more adjustments to train operations. This is mainly due to construction work set to begin at platform one, making these changes significant for travelers.
