Railway Board Approves Stop for Vande Bharat Train at Salona Following Community Campaign in Begusarai

Good news for train passengers! The Vande Bharat train running from Jogbani to Danapur will now stop at Salona station. This change comes after a lot of efforts from the community and support from local newspapers.

Recently, the Railway Board decided to include a stop at Salona for the Vande Bharat train service. This decision was influenced by the continuous coverage and voices raised in local media about the need for better railway services in the region.


Starting from September 15, the Vande Bharat train will commence operations. It will cover a distance of 449 kilometers in about 8 hours. The train is expected to run six days a week, providing more convenience to passengers traveling between these locations.

The train schedule shows that it will leave Jogbani at 3:25 AM and reach Danapur by 11:30 AM, stopping at several important stations along the way. The return journey will start from Danapur at 5:10 PM, allowing travelers to plan their trips effectively.


This new stop at Salona is a big win for local residents, who had been advocating for better rail connectivity. The successful inclusion of this stop shows the importance of community efforts in improving local transportation services.
