Railway Board to Launch Amrit Bharat Express Between Darbhanga and Madar Before Diwali, Weekly Non-AC Train Service Announced

The Indian Railways will start a new train service called Amrit Bharat Express between Darbhanga and Madar before Diwali.



Indian Railways is launching a new train service called Amrit Bharat Express between Darbhanga and Madar before the Diwali festival. This will be a weekly service, providing more travel options for passengers.

This new train will have 22 coaches and will not be air-conditioned. It will include sleeper and general coaches, making it budget-friendly for travelers. The train will make stops at various stations, including the Eidgah station in Agra.


The train is scheduled to depart from Madar every Friday at 9:15 PM and will reach Darbhanga by Saturday at 12:45 AM. On Sundays, it will leave Darbhanga at 1:20 PM and return to Madar.

The Amrit Bharat Express is designed for long-distance travel, especially for journeys over 800 km or those taking longer than 10 hours. It can run at a maximum speed of 110 to 130 km/h.


Railway authorities have already issued orders for this new service, and details about ticket prices and the exact launch date will be announced soon.
