Rajasthan’s Vande Bharat Express Launches, Connecting Ahmedabad and Udaipur with Enhanced Travel Ease and Reduced Journey Time

Good news for people in Rajasthan! A new Vande Bharat Express train is starting soon, which will make travel between two big states much easier.

This new train service will connect Ahmedabad and Udaipur, running on the Ahmedabad-Himmatnagar-Udaipur route. It will operate six days a week, except on Tuesdays, making it convenient for travelers.


The train will start its journey from Udaipur at 6:10 AM and reach Ahmedabad by 10:25 AM. It will stop for two minutes at Himmatnagar, giving passengers a quick break.

For the return trip, the train leaves Ahmedabad at 5:45 PM and arrives back in Udaipur by 10:00 PM. It will operate from the Asarwa Railway Station in Ahmedabad.


This new Vande Bharat train will have eight AC chair car coaches, ensuring a comfortable ride. It will cut travel time to about four hours, which is quicker than the road journey that takes over five hours. This service is especially beneficial for travelers in the Mewar region, as it improves connectivity to Ahmedabad’s airport.
