On September 17, the Howrah-Bhagalpur Vande Bharat Express will commence its regular operations, departing from Howrah at 07:45 AM and arriving at Bhagalpur by 02:05 PM. Following a brief stop, it will then leave Bhagalpur for Howrah at 03:20 PM. The introduction of this service aims to alleviate the passenger congestion on this popular route. The Vande Bharat Special train is renowned for its modern facilities, speed, and comfort, making it a favored choice among travelers.

Ticket Details and Security Measures

Approximately 110 passengers have booked chair car tickets, while 15 have opted for executive class for their journey from Howrah to Bhagalpur. The fare for chair car tickets is set at Rs 1,195, whereas executive class tickets are priced at Rs 2,145. To ensure passenger safety during the journey, security personnel equipped with modern weapons will be deployed on the train.

Return Journey and Future Expansion

The Bhagalpur-Howrah Vande Bharat Express (train number 22310) will depart from Bhagalpur at 03:20 PM and is scheduled to arrive in Howrah at 09:20 PM on the same day. En route, it will make stops at several key stations, including Barahat, Mandarhill, Hansdiha, Nonihat, Dumka, Rampurhat, and Bolpur. Following the launch of this service, railway officials are exploring the possibility of introducing Vande Bharat trains on other routes, taking into account passenger feedback and operational experiences.
