During the Kudmi community’s protests, special AC buses were organized to help passengers reach their destinations. Buses operated from Silli Station to transport travelers to Ranchi and other locations.
As part of these arrangements, about 800 passengers from the Hatia-Purnea Court Express were taken from Silli to Ranchi by bus. Similarly, travelers of the Ajmer-Santragachi Special were also provided bus service from Silli to Ghatsila.
In addition, the Senior DCM of Ranchi Rail Division shared that during the protests, bus services were available for passengers of the Allahpurja-Dhanbad Express from Ranchi to Bokaro-Dhanbad, along with special facilities for those on the Rajdhani and Shatabdi Express trains.
Over these three days, 54 trains were canceled, and 26 trains had partial service changes. Seven trains had their timings adjusted, and around 70 AC buses were put into service to support the affected passengers.
Passengers who had to wait longer at the stations were provided with pure vegetarian meals, snacks, and mineral water. Around 2,500 people received food and water, and special arrangements were made for about 200 travelers on the Tata Nagar-Vande Bharat train at Muri Station.
