Due to this issue, the train was unable to move forward. The crew tried their best to fix the problem, but they had to inform the station masters at Samalkha and Bhodwal for assistance. As a result, a power engine was sent from Diwana Railway Station to help.

Eventually, around 10 PM, the train was brought to the Panipat railway station. Passengers were understandably anxious as they waited for updates. After checking the train, engineers realized it couldn’t continue, prompting them to request a replacement train from Delhi.

Other trains on the route were also delayed due to this incident. The station master stopped trains coming from Delhi to Ambala to manage the situation better. Passengers were finally transferred to a new Vande Bharat train that arrived later, allowing them to continue their journey to Katra.

In the end, the passengers expressed relief once the new train was ready to depart. This incident highlights the importance of timely communication and quick actions in managing train services during unexpected breakdowns.

Summary:

  • Vande Bharat train had a technical failure on Tuesday evening.

  • Passengers were stuck for about two and a half hours.

  • A power engine was sent to assist the stalled train.

  • Passengers were later moved to a replacement train.

  • Communication was key in managing the situation effectively.
