The new Vande Bharat Express train service between Ernakulam and Bengaluru has just started, and it’s already very popular. This train was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi through a video call from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. This is the third Vande Bharat service for Kerala.

Since its launch, tickets for the train have been selling out quickly. The train number 26652, which runs from Ernakulam to KSR Bengaluru, is already fully booked for several days. There is also a waitlist for Executive Chair Car tickets for the next ten days due to high demand.


Tickets for the AC Chair Car are gone for November 16, and there are only a few seats left for the train’s first commercial journey on November 11. The ticket prices vary depending on the route, with fares starting from ₹440 to ₹2980, including meals.

This semi-high-speed train has eight coaches and offers two classes: AC Chair Car and Executive Chair Car. The train’s schedule includes stops at major stations like Thrissur, Palakkad, and Coimbatore, making it convenient for many passengers.


The Ernakulam-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express promises a quick travel experience, with the first train departing Ernakulam at 2:20 PM and reaching Bengaluru by 11:00 PM. With such high interest, it’s advisable for travelers to book tickets well in advance.
