The railway ministry is finalizing the design and safety features to ensure this train sets new standards for premium travel.

The rail minister emphasized that even though the improvements being made might seem small, they are very important for the railway. He mentioned that there is no room for carelessness when it comes to passenger safety and comfort. The aim is to create an excellent and sustainable train service for future generations.

During initial testing, experts suggested some minor technical upgrades which are now being implemented quickly. The improvements are being closely monitored to ensure that passenger safety and comfort are never compromised. The team from the railway safety commissioner is also keeping a watchful eye on these changes.

Some issues were identified in recent tests, like emergency alarm buttons being hard to reach. Following this, the government has issued strict instructions to ensure these buttons are placed in accessible locations. The launch date was pushed back due to the necessary updates, but the railway is confident that everything will be ready for the first Vande Bharat sleeper train by December.

Summary:

  • The Vande Bharat sleeper train is set to launch in December.

  • It will offer comfort and speed for long-distance travel.

  • Safety improvements are being actively implemented.

  • Emergency features are being made more accessible for passengers.

  • Final touches are underway to ensure a successful launch.
