As the train reached the Punjwara crossing at around 5:15 PM, a group of individuals started pelting stones. One stone hit the emergency window, shattering the glass completely. In total, two windows were badly damaged during this attack.
Fortunately, no passengers were injured in this incident. The Railway Protection Force (RPF) quickly arrived at the scene to investigate. They are actively urging people not to throw stones at trains, but these incidents keep happening.
As per RPF officials, they are gathering CCTV footage to identify the culprits behind this stone-pelting. They are taking this matter seriously and are committed to taking action against those responsible.
This marks the fifth time in just two months that the Vande Bharat train has been targeted by stone-pelters. Despite inquiries after each incident, the issue continues to persist.
