What’s inside:

This article shares news about the Vande Bharat train service expanding its capacity and introducing a new design.

The Vande Bharat train, which runs between Bhopal’s Rani Kamalapati Station and Hazrat Nizamuddin Station in Delhi, is getting an upgrade. Starting soon, the train will now have 20 coaches instead of the previous 16, increasing its seating capacity by 400.

The new coaches have already arrived in Bhopal, but the officials have not confirmed when the upgraded train will start its operation. The 20-coach train is currently stationed at Misrod station and will be moved to Rani Kamalapati Station once the launch date is set.

Passengers will benefit from the increased capacity, especially during busy weekends when tickets are often hard to come by. The train’s route, ticket prices, and stops will remain the same, so travelers can expect a familiar experience with more available seats.

There won’t be major changes in the design or facilities of the new coaches. However, the exterior color of the train will change from the previous blue and white to a new saffron and brown combination, making it stand out more.

Railway officials have noted that the decision to increase the number of coaches was made due to rising passenger numbers. The train is expected to start operating with the new coaches soon, adding convenience for travelers.

Summary:

  • The Vande Bharat train will now have 20 coaches.

  • This change increases seating capacity by 400 seats.

  • Current ticket routes and prices will remain unchanged.

  • The train’s color is changing to saffron and brown.

  • Operation with the new coaches will start soon.
