The passenger involved, 53-year-old Tapas Monindra Mohari, was traveling from Nashik to Mathura with his wife, Kajal Tapas Mohari, and daughter, Khushi. During their journey, a man named Sanjeev Ratan Chand Patharia, who was purchasing platform tickets, encountered difficulties in exiting the train on time. In an attempt to assist him, Sanjeev pulled the alarm chain, prompting the train to stop. Subsequently, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel took Sanjeev into custody, where he admitted to pulling the alarm chain without a valid reason.

A case has been registered against Sanjeev Ratan Chand under Section 141 of the Railway Act. Ongoing investigations are being conducted regarding this incident.
