Indian Railways has officially regularized the weekly special train service running between Bikaner and Bandra Terminus to provide more reliable and permanent travel options for passengers travelling between Rajasthan and Mumbai. The popular weekly special service formerly operating under numbers 04711 and 04712 will now run permanently as regular express trains under new numbers 14711 and 14712. Passengers can look forward to seamless journeys starting from August 2026 with well-defined schedules and standard coach compositions. The regular service is officially scheduled to commence on August 26, 2026, from Bikaner and on August 27, 2026, from Bandra Terminus. This upgrade brings great relief to regular commuters and long-distance travellers who frequently depend on this vital rail corridor.

The newly regularized service ensures convenient departure and arrival timings for travellers across both states. Train No. 14711 will depart from Bikaner Junction every Wednesday at 1:30 PM and complete its journey by arriving at Bandra Terminus at 3:50 PM the following day. On the return direction, Train No. 14712 will depart from Bandra Terminus every Thursday at 7:25 PM, successfully reaching Bikaner Junction at 11:55 PM the next day. These well-planned timings allow passengers to easily connect with local transport networks at both destination terminals.

To ensure regional connectivity, the train has been slated to make scheduled stops at 24 important stations along its entire route. The prominent halts include Shri Dungargarh, Rajaldesar, Ratangarh, Churu, Fatehpur Shekhawati, Lachhmangarh Sikar, Sikar, Ringas, Jaipur, Durgapura, Sawai Madhopur, Kota, Ramganj Mandi, Shamgarh, Nagda, Ratlam, Godhra, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Valsad, Vapi, and Borivali. These stoppages cater to passengers travelling across various commercial and cultural hubs in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat.

For regular operations, the train will run with a standard composition of 20 coaches. This includes one Second AC coach, two Third AC coaches, 11 Sleeper Class coaches, four General Class coaches, and two Guard cum Brake Vans. Furthermore, railway authorities have announced that for the initial regularized runs on August 26 and August 27, 2026, a temporary augmentation will be executed by attaching one additional Sleeper coach and one Third AC coach to accommodate higher passenger rush during the launch phase.
