Train numbers 04217 and 04218 (Lucknow-Varanasi Special) will remain cancelled from May 13 to May 27. Additionally, Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off two new Amrit Bharat Express trains. The Ayodhya-Mumbai Amrit Bharat Express (22111/22112) will start regular operations from May 5, 2026. This weekly train will run from Mumbai every Tuesday and Ayodhya Cantt every Wednesday, taking about 26 hours and 20 minutes with 14 stops.
Why is the Jaunpur yard remodelling happening?
