The initiative includes new dedicated routes from cities like Ranchi, Bhagalpur, and Nagpur, alongside temporary station stoppages to manage the heavy passenger footfall effectively.

Key Special Train Routes and Schedules
To facilitate travel, the railways have introduced several key services. The Ranchi-Bhagalpur Shravani Mela Special (08689) will operate via Rajabera every Sunday and Wednesday from July 26 to September 9, 2026. Additionally, Train No. 08640 will run via Barkakana every Monday and Friday from July 27 to September 11, 2026. For pilgrims traveling from central India, the Itwari (Nagpur)-Madhupur Special (08895/08896) will complete five trips in each direction between August 1 and August 30, 2026, now including a halt at Hatia station.
Furthermore, a daily unreserved Barhani-Deoghar Special (05028/05027) will serve passengers from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Jharkhand from July 28 to August 29, 2026. Other enhancements include extended operations for the Howrah-Natesar and Jhansi-Asansol specials, alongside temporary two-minute stoppages for 22 pairs of trains at Mahadevshal Railway Station from July 30 to August 28, 2026.
