Patna IMD has issued a weather alert for Bihar until January 30th. Most parts of the state are expected to experience dense fog, leading to low visibility. This may impact road, rail, and air travel.

Residents of Western Champaran, Eastern Champaran, Sitamarhi, Sheohar, Madhubani, Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj, Purnia, Katihar, Saharsa, Madhepura, Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur, Vaishali, Samastipur, Saran, Siwan, Gopalganj, Bhojpur, Buxar, Rohtas, Kaimur, Aurangabad, and Patna districts should be cautious as thick fog may be observed in the mornings and late nights.


Regions like Gaya, Nawada, Nalanda, Jehanabad, Arwal, Begusarai, Khagaria, Munger, Sheikhpura, Bhagalpur, Banka, and Jamui will have normal weather, but temperatures will be slightly cooler.

In the past 24 hours, there has been a decrease in minimum temperatures across the state. The minimum temperature in Valmikinagar, West Champaran, recorded 8.8 degrees Celsius. Cities like Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur, Muzaffarpur, and Darbhanga saw minimum temperatures ranging from 12 to 15 degrees Celsius.


For the upcoming days until January 30th, Patna is expected to have clear weather with light clouds in the evenings and nights. The maximum temperature may range from 23 to 26 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature could be between 12 to 15 degrees Celsius.
