A tragic incident occurred on the Vande Bharat Express train where a 76-year-old woman named Ramkali died while traveling from Nizamuddin to Gwalior. This happened recently, and it has left many passengers in shock.

The preliminary investigation suggests that her death was due to a heart attack. Ramkali was on her way to meet her son in Gurugram and was traveling with her nephew when she fell unresponsive.


On Friday afternoon, she was seen sitting quietly after drinking water. When her nephew noticed she wasn’t moving for a long time, he became concerned and tried to wake her up but was unable to do so.

Authorities have been informed, and her son has been contacted about the situation. A post-mortem examination is scheduled to be conducted on Saturday to determine the exact cause of death.


The train journey was halted briefly for the investigation, but services have resumed now. This incident highlights the need for awareness regarding health issues, especially while traveling.
