To assist candidates appearing for the Jharkhand Regional Worker Competitive Examination (JFWC Exam), Indian Railways has stepped up to manage the anticipated surge in passenger traffic. The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) is scheduled to conduct the examination on Sunday, July 19, 2026. To ensure seamless travel, the railways will operate **five pairs, or 10 trips, of special examination trains** between July 18 and July 20, 2026.

Key highlights of the announcement include:

• A total of 10 special train trips scheduled to support exam candidates.

• Operations spanning from July 18 to July 20, 2026.

• Trains primarily consist of unreserved MEMU rakes to maximize passenger capacity.

• Coverage includes crucial routes like Ranchi-Dumka, Tatanagar-Hazaribagh Road, Ranchi-Patna, and Ranchi-Garhwa Road.

Details of Special Services

The initiative is being managed jointly by the South Eastern Railway (Ranchi Division) and East Central Railway. These trains are designed to accommodate the heavy rush, with most services operating as **unreserved MEMU (Mainline Electric Multiple Unit) specials**, though some routes may feature sleeper and general category coaches.

Among the specific services, **Train No. 08601 (Garhwa Road-Ranchi Unreserved MEMU Exam Special)** is scheduled to depart Garhwa Road Junction on July 20, 2026, at 01:15 AM, reaching Ranchi by 06:15 AM. Other notable services include:

• **Train No. 08604 (Ranchi-Garhwa Road Unreserved MEMU)**: Departing Ranchi on July 18 at 05:30 PM.

• **Train No. 08619 (Ranchi-Dumka Unreserved Exam Special)**: Departing Ranchi on July 19 at 08:20 PM.

• **Train No. 08624 (Ranchi-Patna Exam Special)**: Departing Ranchi on July 19 at 06:30 PM.

Travel Advisory for Passengers

Indian Railways has designated these services as unreserved to ensure that the maximum number of examinees can be accommodated during this high-demand period. Railway officials strongly advise all candidates and passengers to **verify the exact train timings and operational schedules** through official channels or the NTES app before heading to the station. By planning their journey in advance, candidates can ensure a stress-free commute to their respective examination centers.
