In response to this issue, Indian Railways has initiated special train services to accommodate the increased passenger demand, including a newly announced service between Patliputra and Chhapra.

To facilitate the festive travel of passengers, the East Central Railway has introduced a pair of special trains, numbered 05297/05298, which will operate between Patliputra and Chhapra from October 9, 2024, to December 31, 2024. The special train 05297 will depart from Patliputra at 08:15 AM daily, reaching Chhapra at 10:50 AM, with stops at various stations along the route. Conversely, train 05298 will leave Chhapra at 15:20 PM daily, arriving back at Patliputra at 17:55 PM, also making stops at various stations. This schedule is set to remain in effect from October 9, 2024, through December 31, 2024, ensuring that travelers heading to Chhapra face no difficulties during the festive season.
