The Banaras-Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express train is all set to begin its regular service from November 11. This train will run six days a week, leaving out Thursdays, and it will travel in both directions between Banaras and Khajuraho.
This train will be maintained primarily at Banaras station. It has a speed limit of 58.62 kilometers per hour and will cover the distance of 469 kilometers in about eight hours. The official schedule for this service was announced by the railway board recently.
Train number 26506 will leave Banaras at 5:10 AM and will also stop at the Cantt station at 5:25 AM. It will reach Vindhyachal at 6:55 AM, pass through Prayagraj Chheki at around 8:00 AM, and arrive at Chitrakoot Dham by 10:05 AM. The train will then reach Banda at 11:08 AM.
Next, it will arrive at Mahoba at 12:08 PM and will reach Khajuraho by 1:10 PM. For the return journey, train number 26505 will leave Khajuraho at 3:20 PM and stop at Mahoba at 4:20 PM.
It will make a brief stop at Banda at 5:13 PM for two minutes, then arrive at Chitrakoot Dham at 6:13 PM, and will reach Prayagraj Chheki at 8:20 PM. Finally, it will get to Vindhyachal at 9:10 PM and will return to the Banaras Cantt station by 11:00 PM, completing its journey by 11:15 PM.
