The East Coast Railway has introduced a new train timetable starting from January 1, 2026. This change aims to improve train services and passenger convenience across various routes.

Under the revised schedule, new trains will be launched, and existing services will be extended. There will also be increased frequency for certain trains, new stops added, and improvements in train speeds.


Passengers can look forward to six new trains, including routes like Udhna-Brahmapur and Sambalpur-Boudh. Additionally, some popular routes will have more trains running throughout the week, making travel more accessible.

Notably, the frequency for the Udhna-Brahmapur Amrit Bharat Express will increase from weekly to three days a week. Several trains will also have their travel times adjusted to make journeys quicker.


These changes will remain in effect until the next schedule is published, enhancing overall train travel efficiency in the region.
