Hazaribagh MP Manish Jaiswal Advocates for New Railway Facilities and Projects at Patna Meeting

In Hazaribagh, the local MP Manish Jaiswal attended an important railway meeting in Patna on Thursday. This meeting was organized by the East Central Railway’s user committee, where various railway issues affecting Hazaribagh and nearby areas were discussed.

During the meeting, Jaiswal made several significant demands for improving railway services in the region. He urged railway officials to expedite the completion of pending projects and proposed new facilities to benefit the local community.


One of the key requests was to build new halts between Barhi and Padma in Koderma, along with another halt in Garukura. Moreover, he asked for important trains like the Vande Bharat Express and Intercity Express to stop at Barhi, making travel easier for students and business people.

Jaiswal also requested that the Ranchi-Delhi Rajdhani Express should again run through Barkakana. He emphasized the need to reinstate several trains that were recently moved from Barkakana to Ranchi Road back to their original route.


Looking ahead, Jaiswal hopes the railway ministry will take prompt action on these public interest issues. He also mentioned the importance of completing the ongoing coach maintenance depot and doubling the railway line connecting Koderma, Hazaribagh, and Barkakana.
