Hazaribagh MP Manish Jaiswal recently attended a meeting in Patna related to the Eastern Central Railway. He raised important railway issues concerning Hazaribagh and nearby areas during this meeting.

Some of the key demands included constructing new halts between Barhi and Padma, along with another halt in Garukuhra. He also requested that important trains, like the Vande Bharat Express and Intercity Express, stop at Barhi to benefit the local population.

Additionally, he proposed resuming the operation of the Ranchi-Delhi Rajdhani Express via Barkakana and increasing the number of bogies in certain local trains. He emphasized the need for doubling the railway line between Koderma and Hazaribagh city.


Jaiswal expressed hope that the railway ministry would soon take positive actions on these public interest issues to enhance rail connectivity and services in the region.
