The Indian Railways has officially announced the ticket prices for the much-awaited Vande Bharat Sleeper Express. This train will operate at fares similar to the Rajdhani Express but will reach destinations faster.
The minimum chargeable distance for this train is set at 400 kilometers. Even if passengers travel less than this distance, they will still have to pay for 400 kilometers.
For journeys up to 400 kilometers, the fares are ₹1520 for First AC, ₹1240 for Second AC, and ₹960 for Third AC. For distances up to 1000 kilometers, the fares are ₹3800, ₹3100, and ₹2400, respectively.
Passengers traveling from Ranchi to New Delhi will pay ₹4735 in First AC, ₹3862 in Second AC, and ₹2990 in Third AC. The Rajdhani fares for the same route are slightly higher.
Only confirmed tickets will be issued for the Vande Bharat Sleeper Express, with no waiting list or RAC tickets available. Booking will open on the first day of the advance reservation period, and the train will feature modern amenities and top-notch safety.
