Although not many passengers traveled on the first day, it is expected that more people will book tickets in the coming days. With the new coaches, the train can now carry up to 1,124 passengers, a significant increase from the previous 526 seats.

The train left Indore at 6:10 AM, stopping briefly at Ujjain at 6:50 AM before heading towards Bhopal. It reached Bhopal at 9:15 AM, where many more passengers boarded the train for Nagpur.

Two years ago, the first Vande Bharat train was introduced in Indore, and now its capacity has doubled with the new coaches. These extra coaches arrived in Indore last week and were added to the train on Monday morning.

Previously, the train had only eight coaches with 530 seats. Now, with the addition of eight more, it can accommodate over a thousand passengers. This will also benefit travelers going from Indore to Bhopal as the train makes a stop there, enhancing convenience for those traveling to Nagpur. The train will return to Indore later that night.

Summary:

  • The Vande Bharat train now has 16 coaches.

  • Passenger capacity increased from 526 to 1,124.

  • The train runs daily from Indore to Nagpur.

  • Stops include Ujjain and Bhopal.

  • More passengers are expected to book tickets soon.
