The Varanasi-Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express is set to start its first journey tomorrow. This new train service connects two significant cities in India, Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh and Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh, known for their rich cultural heritage.

The train will cover a distance of 469 kilometers in approximately eight hours, traveling at an average speed of about 58.62 kilometers per hour. This semi-high-speed train will operate under the Northern Railway zone, making travel more efficient and comfortable.


Passengers can catch the train at 8:05 AM from Varanasi and will arrive in Khajuraho by 4:25 PM. It will make stops at six stations along the route, including Vindhyachal, Prayagraj Chheoki, Chitrakutdham, Banda, and Mahoba. Ticket prices are set at Rs 1,330 for the AC Chair Car and Rs 2,405 for the Executive Chair Car.
