According to Amit Sudarshan, Chief Public Relations Officer for North Western Railway, this initiative is a direct response to the expected travel rush, ensuring that more passengers can secure confirmed berths during the peak holiday period.
The augmentation covers a wide array of popular services, including the Jaipur-Jodhpur, Ajmer-Amritsar, Ajmer-Bandra Terminus, Jaipur-Udaipur City, Jodhpur-Indore, Indore-Bhagat ki Kothi, Jodhpur-Varanasi City, Ajmer-Agra Fort, Jodhpur-Delhi, Udaipur City-Khajuraho, and Hisar-Tirupati routes. Additionally, several trains servicing stations such as Narnaul, Mahendragarh, and Ateli in Haryana will also benefit from the increased capacity.
