Indian Railways is set to enhance connectivity between Gujarat and Bihar with the introduction of the new weekly Amrit Bharat Express connecting Ahmedabad and Bhagalpur. This service is designed to cater to the increasing demand for travel between these two major commercial hubs, effectively replacing the existing 09447/09448 Ahmedabad-Patna-Ahmedabad special train. By transitioning this route into the regular 19423/19424 Amrit Bharat Express, the national transporter aims to provide a more reliable and comfortable travel experience for passengers travelling between the ‘Silk City’ of Bhagalpur and the industrial heartland of Ahmedabad.

Schedule and Timings
Passengers can book their tickets starting August 21 through PRS counters or the official IRCTC website. The train, number 19423, is scheduled to depart from Ahmedabad every Wednesday at 6:30 PM, beginning August 26, and will reach Bhagalpur on Friday morning at 6:40 AM.
For the return leg, train number 19424 will depart from Bhagalpur every Friday at 4:45 PM, starting August 28, arriving in Ahmedabad at 5:25 AM on Sunday.
