Indian Railways is planning to provide a big relief to passengers in the Delhi-NCR region. The Mobile UTS (Unreserved Ticketing System) service will soon be available at halt stations, where only a few trains stop. This move will help passengers avoid long queues at ticket windows for general tickets.
🚨: Railway safety boost: Indian Railways to build 3-meter high boundary walls around city tracks।
Which stations will get this facility and how will it work
Railway officials have been asked to identify specific halt stations to start this service. Tenders for the Mobile UTS service will be issued soon. This initiative follows a successful one-year trial conducted by Southern Railway across 10 halt stations. The service will be particularly useful at crowded stations such as:
- Mangolpuri and Holambi Kalan
- Mundka and Mandawali Chand Vihar
- Narayana Vihar and Chanakyapuri
- Pragati Maidan, Patel Nagar, and Sewa Nagar
What is the new RailOne Super App
The old UTS mobile app was completely shut down on March 1, 2026. All unreserved ticketing services have now moved to the RailOne Super App. Passengers can log in using their old UTS and RailConnect credentials, and their existing R-Wallet balance will be transferred to the new app.
