Passenger trains in Bihar will now make stops at 5 new halts, starting from 2nd February. The decision has been taken by the East Central Railway to provide convenience to passengers. The trains will make brief stops for 2-2 minutes at Karauta, Champapur, Manjhauligram, Salimpur Bihar, and Buddhedevchak Yadavnagar.
For the Patna-Mokama Memu train (train number 63221), the new timings are as follows: it will stop at Champapur at 6:17 AM, Salimpur Bihar at 6:24 AM, Karauta at 6:27 AM, Manjhauligram at 6:30 AM, and Buddhedevchak Yadavnagar at 6:42 AM. The return train (train number 63222) will also make stops at these halts in the evening.
The Jhajha-Danapur Fast Passenger train (train number 53203) will now stop at Champapur, Salimpur Bihar, Manjhauligram, and Buddhedevchak Yadavnagar. The timings for this train have been adjusted to accommodate the new stops. The return train (train number 53204) will also follow suit with these new stops.
The Bihar Intermediate exams will commence from 2nd February and continue until 13th February, with approximately 13 lakh students participating. Following this, the Matric exams will begin from 17th February with around 16 lakh students appearing. In light of the exams, train stops have been modified to ensure students face no inconvenience.
