Bihar’s Young Scientist Shreyas Wins Gold Medal at International Expo, Makes Country Proud in Bangkok

This article shares the success story of young scientist Shreyas from Bihar who won a gold medal at an international expo in Thailand.




Shreyas, a talented young scientist from Aurangabad district in Bihar, made his mark at the Invention, Innovation, and Technology Exhibition 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand by winning a gold medal. This achievement has not only brought glory to his district but has also highlighted India’s name on the global stage with participants from over 20 countries.

Together with his teammates, Shreyas developed a special database management system based on quantum technology, which was highly praised by international experts. Their research not only earned them a gold medal but also recognition with the NRCI Outstanding International Invention and Innovation Prize, a prestigious honor given to only 6 countries globally.


Shreyas’ parents, Suryakant Sinha and Nibha Sinha, who are both teachers in Satyendra Nagar, expressed their pride and joy in their son’s historic achievement. They mentioned that Shreyas has always had an interest in research and innovation since childhood, and they appeal to the government to support such talents in reaching international platforms.

Prior to this, Shreyas had achieved significant milestones such as creating a women’s safety device in April 2022 and discovering two asteroids in October 2022, which caught NASA’s attention. His name is now associated with these asteroids in space, and he was also selected in the national youth scientist competition in March 2023.


Currently, Shreyas is preparing to present his research at international forums in Poland and Switzerland. His success is not only a matter of pride for his district but also serves as a great inspiration for emerging scientists in the country.
