IndiGo CEO Peter Elbers Commends Team Efforts in Overcoming Operational Challenges, Restoring Majority of Flight Services

Indigo CEO Peter Albers has praised the teamwork of Indigo employees in handling recent challenges and resuming most flight services.




Indigo CEO Peter Albers has mentioned that the airline has overcome recent obstacles and is now operating smoothly. He commended the efforts of pilots, cabin crew, airport teams, operations control, and customer service staff in stabilizing the situation.

On Thursday, Indigo successfully operated around 2,200 flights, indicating a near-complete restoration of the network.


In early December, Indigo had to cancel a large number of flights due to operational difficulties. This caused inconvenience to many passengers facing delays and disruptions at airports.

Albers highlighted that Indigo is now focusing on strengthening its services and analyzing the root causes of past challenges. The company has appointed an external aviation expert to investigate the issues.


Despite global challenges in aviation operations, Indigo aims to enhance its systems and processes based on the experiences gained during this period.
