Passenger Discovers Cockroaches on Vande Bharat Express from Gwalior to Bhopal, Sparks Hygiene Concerns

Recently, a passenger named Paranidesh Sharma had a disturbing experience on the Vande Bharat Express train. He was travelling from Gwalior to Bhopal on November 5 when he discovered cockroaches on his seat. This incident has led to a conversation about cleanliness in Indian Railways.

Sharma, who was excited for his first ride on this premium train, was shocked to see insects crawling around. He recorded the situation and shared it online, urging the railway authorities to take immediate action to fix these issues.


The fare for this journey was nearly double the usual price, which made Sharma expect a much cleaner and more comfortable experience. Many social media users shared his frustration and tagged Indian Railways, asking for better maintenance of the train’s interiors.

Indian Railways has acknowledged the complaint and is looking into the matter. The Chief Public Relations Officer stated that this is the first complaint of its kind for the Vande Bharat Express, and they aim to uphold high hygiene standards.


As a response to the incident, the railway department is investigating the situation and ensuring accountability. Passengers are reminded that cleanliness and pest control are essential, especially when they are paying higher fares for premium services.
