The article discusses recent stone-pelting incidents on the Vande Bharat Express train traveling from Prayagraj to Gorakhpur.

A recent incident has occurred involving the Vande Bharat Express train, which travels from Prayagraj to Gorakhpur. On Thursday evening, as the train was passing between Kunda and Unchahar, some unidentified individuals threw stones at it.

This stone-pelting damaged the glass of coach number C-1. The train’s crew quickly informed the control rooms in Lucknow and Delhi about the incident. Following this, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) filed a case against unknown individuals on Friday.

This is not an isolated case; there have been three stone-pelting incidents in just five days. Previous incidents took place on December 14 and 15, between Kunda-Unchahar and Nigohan-Shri Rajnagar stations. The footage from these events is still under review as it has not yet been received from Gorakhpur.

The RPF post in Unchahar stated that they are actively seeking to identify the culprits responsible for the recent attack. They have requested the CCTV footage from Gorakhpur to help in identifying those involved in the stone-pelting.

Next steps include analyzing the obtained footage to make arrests swiftly. The RPF is determined to take action against those who disrupt train services and threaten passenger safety.

Summary:

  • Stone-pelting incidents have occurred on the Vande Bharat Express train.

  • Recent damage was reported to a train window during a journey.

  • Multiple incidents have been recorded in the past week.

  • The RPF is working to identify the attackers through CCTV footage.

  • Authorities are committed to ensuring passenger safety on trains.
