What’s inside:

Indian Railways parcel services under scrutiny again after Bihar government minister’s brother’s goods worth more than 5 lakh rupees go missing mysteriously from Tata Nagar-Thawe Express parcel coach.

Indian Railways’ parcel services are facing questions once again regarding their security. In a high-profile incident, goods worth more than 5 lakh rupees belonging to Sanjay Singh, the brother of Bihar government’s PHED minister, went missing in a mysterious manner from the parcel coach of Tata Nagar-Thawe Express. This has caused a stir in the railway authorities, leading to a quick investigation.

The journey from Tata to Hajipur and the disappearance of 12 cartons of ‘mystery’ goods:

Dhananjay Kumar, who owns a popular showroom in Hajipur called ‘Shriledar’, had booked 12 cartons of leather goods worth a total of 5,32,751 rupees from Tata Nagar on December 23. According to the norm, the goods were supposed to be unloaded at Hajipur station. However, upon reaching the destination, the staff found silence as the goods were nowhere to be found.

Suspense between Kiul and Muzaffarpur:

During the initial investigation, it was discovered that other parcels were loaded at Purulia and Kiul stations. When the train reached Muzaffarpur station and the bundles were unloaded, an unusual empty space was seen inside the parcel coach. Suspicions are being raised that professional thieves or insiders might have broken the seals and removed the goods during the journey.

Summary:

  • Goods worth over 5 lakh rupees missing from Bihar government minister’s brother’s parcel on Tata Nagar-Thawe Express.

  • 12 cartons of leather goods disappeared mysteriously during the journey from Tata to Hajipur.

  • Additional parcels loaded at other stations raise suspicion of theft or insider involvement.

  • Railway authorities and officials are conducting a thorough investigation into the incident.

  • Minister Sanjay Singh expresses strong displeasure and demands immediate action from railway authorities.
